Welcome to the Community. Allow me to share some information about the character limitations on an invoice.
In QuickBooks Desktop, each field in your company file has a maximum number of characters that can be entered. Currently, the maximum number of characters that can be entered into the Serial Number field on an invoice is 40, and it includes spaces.
