conversion from online QB to desktop QB, problems with unapplied cash payment income

Transferred online QB to desktop version. In the online version, there was an amount posted to the unapplied cash payment income that came over to the desktop version showing as a credit balance

in the A/R on the Balance sheet. The general ledger A/R did not show this balance at all. The income

was off by this amount.

Quickbooks support could not help with this issue. Very disappointing !

conversion from online QB to desktop QB, problems with unapplied cash payment income

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, CMAG1. When converting from QuickBooks Online to QuickBooksDesktop, there are some limitations, which is what you may be experiencing. I encourage you to review this article about limitations when moving your information from one program to another.

However, you could create a journal entry to change your books, but I highly recommend that you contact your accountant to see the best fit for your business. If you don't have an accountant, we provide a ProAdvisor service. Simply click the link, enter your zip code, and you will be able to view experts within your area. They even offer a free consultation.

If you have any other questions about this, I'm just a post away. Take care and be safe!
