Create a statement .pdf

I have been unable to create a .pdf of a statement. I need to do this because I have been unable to email the statement, although I would like to be able to do it even if I can email the statement. I have a Gmail account and after entering my password for Gmail, I get an Incorrect credentials or Gmail settings error. I have gone through the recommended steps, but it appears that QB may be considered an unsafe app.

Create a statement .pdf

Thank you for posting here in the Community @sandy38,

Let me step in and help you with your concern. You can update your QuickBooks Desktop account for you to be able to create a .pdf statement. Follow these steps on how to update your QuickBooks Desktop account latest release. Here's how:

Make sure to update your QuickBooks so you'll have the latest features and fixes.

  1. Go to the Update to the Latest Release page.
  2. Make sure that your product in your QuickBooks Desktop account is selected. If not, select your QuickBooks Desktop product by clicking the Change link.
  3. Hit the Update button to download the updated file.
  4. Select Setup Automatic Updates to know more on how to set your QuickBooks Desktop account to automatically download and install the latest updates.

Once done, you can also update your Adobe reader. This process will help you open PDF attachments.

If you're not able to connect your email server in your QuickBooks Desktop account, you can follow the steps provided to this article to fix the problem: Fix Error: Could not connect to the email server.

Just let me know if you'll need further assistance by leaving a message in the comment box. I'll be happier to help. Have a wonderful day!
