Yes, this issue when adding direct deposit accounts or information for contractors is an ongoing issue that our engineers are closely working on right now.
While there's no workaround yet, I'd suggest calling our Customer Care Team. I suggest giving us a quick call so we can add your company information to the list of affected users. This way, updates will be sent to you via email regarding the progress of the investigation.

As mentioned by @Charies_M, our engineers are all hands on deck towards finding a permanent solution. Though, I’m unable to provide a definite time frame when will this be fixed, rest assured that I’ll update the post once there’s progress to the issue
