Hi I perform freelance bookkeeping for a law firm where the client ledgers were setup under customer... (s/b sub-accounts) I am looking to find out how to view the "Summary Custom Report" to show as what they are....positive as a positive and negative as a negative but the report is shown as visa versa (hope this makes sense). I have tried to customize the report but doesn't seem to give me the correct format. Thank you in advance for your help...
The amounts shown in your report will depend from the transactions you've created. It's possible that you've entered a sales transaction instead of an expense. Also, over-payments can also affect the amounts.
On the other hand, if you are referring to the report on how to show negative number, you can go to the Customize Report option.
Run the preferred report and then click Customize Report button.
Then, click the Fonts & Numbers tab.
From the Show Negative Numbers, you can choose how you'll want to display the negative amounts.
Afterwards, click OK.
