Customer "Overdue" Balance Summary

I'll help you find a report and filter it out so you can achieve your goal. Here are a few ways to view the balance due for each of your customers in QuickBooks Online. 

You can run the Transaction List by Date Report, then customize it to see the customer’s balance due on your account. 

Here's how: 

1. Go to the Report menu on the left side. 
2. Type the mentioned report in the search field. 
3. Click the Customize button, then filter the following: 

• Report period: Choose the appropriate period.
• Group by: Customer
• Columns: Date, Name, Amount, Due Date, and Open Balance
• Transaction Type: Invoice
• Name: Pick the appropriate names in the list
• Due Date: All Dates or Custom dates. 

      4. Click Run report. 

      5. You can also export the report to Excel and add all the Open Balance.

Alternatively, go to the All Sales section and filter it to see the customer's overdue balance. Allow me to illustrate how:

1. Select the Sales tab, then choose All Sales. 
2. Click the small gear icon, then check the Type, Customer, Due date, Balance, and Status. 
3. In the Filter drop-down, select the following: 

• Type: Invoices
• Status: Overdue
• Date: All Dates or Custom
• Customer: All or exact name

      4. Tap Apply. 

      5. Hit the Print or Export icon if you want to have a copy of this.
