Join nowI have modified the starter report Sales Item Forecasting in QBAR to show sales year over year for the past 3 years. Unfortunately, many of our inventory items are not sold outright, but are used in Inventory Adjustments or Builds to make a variety of other products. This report is only showing invoiced sales, however, I need to add in Inventory adjustments and builds as well.
This is the expression being used to total sales: sum({$<$(vExprDayRangeFilter(365,0)), $(vExprSales)>} [Transactions.Quantity With Sign])
I'd like to add Inventory Adjustments and used in builds into this expression so that it will show all instances of the item being used.
I'd also like to see Adjustments and builds as separate columns so that we can evaluate to see if we are spending too much time on builds as opposed to ordering the items whole.
We use QB Enterprise Desktop for Manufacturing and Wholesale.
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
Good Afternoon, @LM80.
Congrats on making your first post here in the QuickBooks Community. With this report issue, contacting our Customer Support Team would be the fastest way to get a solution. They can use a screen share tool to walk you rough some easy steps to see if this will be possible with this report. Here's how:
I want to make sure you get the support you need to get you back on track. Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with. Bye for now!
Unfortunately, QB does "not support the use of QBAR or assist with the creation of reports" per the chat with Help today. I've been told this is the past as well, which is why I've reached out on the community page to see if anyone else out there has already accomplished this task.
