Join nowGood afternoon,
I'm trying to get a report for daily sales. Currently using the Custom Transaction Detail, which shows each day and the transactions for each day. However, I don't want to every line item for the invoice/invoice #.
I only want the report to show the single transaction and total sales amt for the date.
Please see attached file of what I currently have and what I would like to have.
Thank you,
FMW
Hi there, @FMW.
We can use the Custom Summary Report instead. This report will give you a summary of the transaction that you've created for a specific period.
Here's how:
In addition, you can customize your reports in QuickBooks Dekstop to view the details that matter the most to your business. Then, memorize them to save it customized settings.
I'm always here to help if you have any other concerns or questions. Just tag my name in the comment section and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Thank you for reply. However, I apparently did not explain myself clearly. The report I was looking is what I have attached.
The ability to customize reports, as you replied, is very helpful for other reports that I need to generate.
