Do we have facility to add custom colum in Sales Invoice form / page?

I would like to add some custom information in my Sales Invoice Header as well line level, how we can do so . Besides this, also line to print these custom values at Sales Invoice

Hi there, @sangeetachakrabo. This is just the place to get the answers you're looking for regarding custom fields.

 

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can add custom fields to your sales forms. QBO Plus and Essentials are limited to 3 custom fields on sales forms. 

 

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Custom fields.
  2. Select Add custom field.
  3. Enter a name in the Name field.
  4. Select the All Sales forms checkbox.
  5. Turn on the Print on form switch. Otherwise, it will only be visible in QuickBooks.
  6. Select Save.

If you're using QBO Advanced, you can have up to 12 active custom fields for each type of form and profile. Besides text, you can also create a custom dropdown, date, and number fields.

 

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Custom fields.
  2. Select Add custom field. If you’ve already created a field, you’ll see Add field instead.
  3. Give your custom field a name.
  4. Select the type of data that will go in your custom field: Text and numberNumber onlyDate, or Dropdown list. If you select Dropdown list, enter the items in the list.
  5. Choose the Transaction category.
  6. Select Invoice and turn on the Print on form switch. 
  7. When you’re finished, select Save.

  1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
