Does a check in bill pay allow more then 50 items?

Thank you for asking us here on the Community, @judy-marckres. Yes, it does. QuickBooks Online allows 50 items paid by check at one time.

To do this, adjust the number of transactions you can pay or print from the settings or gear icon

Here's how:

  1. Open the Pay Bills or Print Checks window.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, then click the drop-down arrow under Rows.
  3. Select 50.

If the gear icon isn't working for you, it could be that you're experiencing a browser-related issue. We can use a private or incognito window to confirm this. Here's how:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

If that works via the private window, troubleshoot your main browser by clearing its cache. Otherwise, use another supported, up-to-date browser.

Hello judy-marckres!

It's great to know that you tried the troubleshooting steps shared by my colleague. Allow me to further assist you.

This behavior in QuickBooks Online is usually a result of a browser error. Since you're still experiencing the same issue, I suggest you seek some help from our Support Team for further investigation.

  1. Click the (?) Help icon and enter Talk to a human (then type it again when prompted).
  2. When asked by the bot, enter "Pay Bills".
  3. Select I still need a human, then proceed with Contact us or Get help from a human.
  4. Choose either Chat or Callback.

You'll want to check this link: Common custom reports in QuickBooks Online. This will show you how to pull up and customize vendor reports.
