QuickBooks Online has a list of accepted characters that you can choose from. Usually, if you provide non-standard or invalid characters, this leads to the server and other errors in the application. That's why we only provide you the basic characters. You'll have to make sure that you only provide the accepted characters when saving any information such as Customers, Vendors, Products and Services, or the Chart of Accounts.
