Hello,

 

Why are you trying to merge your credit card and your checking account?  They should be 2 different accounts.  You can track your business credit card in QuickBooks also.  That way you record business charges on the credit card as expenses and then simply record a transfer from the checking account to the credit card account anytime you make a payment on the credit card.

Checking and CC are not on the P&L, they are on the balance sheet.

 

the income and expense accounts used in a transaction are on the P&L

 

Paying down the CC is not an expense, it is repayment of debt so it will not be on the P&L either
