Does anyone know why I am getting error message trying to use a new invoice template I created? It only allows me to use one of my templates that pops up automatically?

Welcome and thanks for visiting the Community today, @jericha-janus3so. I want to help ensure I'm able to provide the right troubleshooting steps to your invoice concerns. 

 

I'd appreciate it if you can you please provide the exact error message you received? 

 

QuickBooks Online uses cache to load the page quicker. However, when it becomes full, it will result in unexpected behaviors. In the meantime, we can use the basic fix which is to use incognito or a private window to check if this is a browser-related issue. Here's how: 

 

  • For Internet Explorer of Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

 

Check to see if you're able to use the invoice template you've created without errors. Then, go back to your main browser to clear the cache

 

If the steps above will not work, you can use a supported browser as alternatives.
