Hi @keya-thomas,

Fiat-Lux - ASIA is absolutely correct. The great news is that Melio is already embedded in QBO.

Here is an article with details about that integration: QBO bill pay service

Feel free to reach out with any additional questions about vendor payments, or anything else. We’re happy to help anytime!

It's great to have you here today, keya-thomas.

The transaction fee for your vendor's payment using a credit card will depend on your bank. If you're using Online Bill Pay, the ACH transaction fee is $0.99 and $1.99 per check. For more details, you can check out this article: Bill Pay for QuickBooks Online.

You can also check out this article when paying your vendor: Pay a Bill with a Credit or Debit Card.

In case you need to record the fee, you can check out my colleague's instructions on a previous thread: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/banking/how-to-record-a-bank-transaction-fee-incur....

Additionally, here's an article that you can read to help track the vendor expenses: Run a Report with Vendor Totals.

I suggest getting back to this thread if you'll need assistance in managing your vendor transactions. It's always my pleasure to help you out again.

Hi Charlene,

Thanks for your response! I'm clear on the cost for ACH transfers. What about credit card or debit card payments? What is the transaction fee for that for QBO Advanced folks?

Another option, Melio

https:// melio.grsm.io/quickbooks

Bank transfers and debit card payments are completely free, or you can use a credit card (with a 2.9% tax-deductible fee) to extend your float and get rewards. They will pay vendors on your behalf with a bank transfer (ACH) or a mail-delivered paper check, both with your business name clearly displayed.

Thanks for your message. I still want to stick to using QB. At least to start off with. I just took a subscription and I want to use QB first before I use another integrated tool. But thank you for the info! I'll add it to my notes.
