Does Quickbooks have a feature for setting quarterly revenue goals?

Hello there, @jonathan32.

We can create a budget and compare it against actual sales and expenses in QuickBooks Online.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon ⚙ and select Budgeting.
  2. Click Add budget.
  3. Enter a budget name in the Name field.
  4. From the Fiscal Year ▼ dropdown, select the fiscal year for the budget.
  5. Use the Interval ▼ dropdown to specify whether the budget is MonthlyQuarterly, or Yearly.
  6. From the Pre-fill data ▼ dropdown list, you can choose to automatically enter data from the current or previous year into the budget, and specify the year to use. This is optional.
  7. From the Subdivide by dropdown▼, you can split the budget by Class, Customer, or Location. Then specify which class, customer, or location to add to the budget. This is optional.
  8. Select Open and then Next.
  9. Hit Save or Save and close.

Once you've done, go back to the Budgeting menu and review your budgets.

Also, you can use the Profit and Loss Detail report as a guide to your budget.

  1. Select Reports in the left menu.
  2. Open Profit and Loss Detail report.
  3. Click Customize
  4. Hit Run Report.

Please let me know if you have any concerns. I'll be right back to you. Take care.
