I can help you with upgrading your current subscription, @Pies90.

QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) and QuickBooks Online (QBO) are two different subscriptions. If you'd like to switch from QBSE to QBO and no longer need the QBSE account, then you can cancel it. 

You can upgrade your current subscription directly from your Billing info page if you have the Explore QuickBooks Online plans option. If not, then you'll need to manually sign up for the QBO account and then cancel the QBSE account.

QBSE and QBO are two different products. You are not allowed using the same email address for QBSE to open a new blank QBO account.
