Dulipcate Donation

I have what appears to be a duplicate donation on Non-Profit Premier. When I try to delete it QuickBooks tells me that I need to delete the deposit. The only problem is that it does not appear to be on any deposit. The only thing different on the report is that Clr is checked??? How do I delete this duplicate deposit?

Thanks for visiting the Community, Ambc Ron.

I can help you find the the duplicate donation.

It's possible that this donation have been deposited already. You can open the register to find the deposit and delete it.

Here's how:

  1. Click Lists at the top.
  2. Choose Chart of Accounts.
  3. Double-click the account to open the register.
  4. Locate the deposit and click it to open.
  5. On the deposit screen, press Ctrl and D to delete it.
  6. Click OK to confirm.

That should get you on the right track. Please let me know how that works for you. I'm to here provide you additional assistance if you need anything else. Have a good one.

Re: Dulipcate Donation

The problem was I did not know where the deposit was make, I must have put in the incorrect date on the deposit. So I did a "Sales Receipt History" (Donation) and found the date that the deposit was really made. Then I deleted the deposit and then the donation. The
Sales Receipt History is a NEAT feature that I had never used before. THANKS!
