Hi ddlet,

When you open the exported Excel file, it lets you click on the Enable Edit link to be able to edit the data.

If you're exporting some customize reports, this reference will give you a guide: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/run-reports/export-your-reports-to-excel-from-quic...

The information has already been downloaded into QuickBooks (invoices) and invoices are posted so would have to recreate everything and delete what is there (190 invoices - very time consuming).  Isn't there a way though QB to ungray the tax box in the specific invoice?

Hi @ddlet,
Thanks for coming back. I have a few questions for clarification. Are you referring to the custom invoice template uploaded into your QuickBooks Online, or the bank transactions imported from the Banking page manually, or exporting custom reports to Excel?

Thanks again, @ddlet.

Importing invoice template requires you to use the MS Word. Also, please make sure to copy and paste the EZ Map Fields from the sample template. This way, you're able to see the sale tax rate when printing invoices.

I'd recommend following the steps found in this article to guide you with importing templates in QuickBooks Online: <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://community.intuit.com/articles/1764577-import-custom-form-styles-for-invoices-or-estimates">h...>
