Filtered G/L Report

I need a specific G/L Report.  I go to customize, filter, multiple accounts and select all.  I unselect those I do not was to be in the report.  These would be 0 balance or inactive catagories.  I hit ok and update the report.  Northing changes.  I have gone into my chart of accounts and made every catagory active and gone through the whole process again.  Nothing changes!  Please help!

Filtered G/L Report

I'll walk you through the steps on how you can clear up the inactive accounts from the report, @Densie.

 

It only takes a few clicks and I'm sure you'll be a pro in no time. Follow the steps below:

 

  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Select Accountant & Taxes and choose General Ledger.
  3. Click the Customize Report button.
  4. Under the Display tab, click the Advanced button.
  5. Tick In Use under the Include section.

  6. Click OK, then OK.

 

Once done, your General Ledger report will show the active accounts only.
