Hey there, TLangworthy.
Thanks for taking the time to contact the Community. I'd be glad to help you out with the Budget vs. Actuals report.
There are just a few steps to generate a Budget vs. Actuals comparison report for the previous year. Here's how:
1. Click Reports from the left navigation menu.
2. In the search bar, type Budget vs. Actuals.
3. For a custom report, enter the specific date range [years] you'd like to compare.
4. If you choose, you can save the customized report by selecting Save customization.
5. Click Run report.
You'll then have a report of budgeted vs. funds actually spent for the desired years you'd like to compare.
I've got an article for you that covers customizing reports in QuickBooks Online. You can take a look at it here: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/community/Reports-and-accounting/Customize-reports/m-p/186005.
Hope the rest of the work week treats you well. Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions about reporting or anything else in QBO.
