Finding customer acct emails don't "port" over to the invoices, I have to put them on the actual email line of the invoice.why is that or am I doing something wrong?

I also see that if I change an email for a customer, it doesn't replace them on the invoices either, so it still isn't porting over to the new invoices either

Welcome to the Community, @generalfiredsm-g.

I'm here to share information about changing customer emails with invoices.

If you change an email address for a created invoice, the changes will only affect that specific invoice. There will be no changes for other invoices of that customer.

Also, if you are going to change the email address on the customer's profile, it will only affect future invoices created. It will not change anything for the invoices created before the changes.

Check this article to learn more about invoices: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online. It will guide you in customizing invoices.

I'm also adding this guide for creating recurring transactions: Create recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you have additional questions about managing invoices. I'm always here to help. Have a great day.
