Buy nowI don't understand this response.... the invoice number used to auto-populate in the subject line, but then a few weeks ago it stopped working. The text [Invoice #] is in the email subject line by default - why would it do that, if auto-populating with the invoice number is not a feature?
Hello there, @decellesdesigns.
I understand how convenient it is to auto-populate invoice numbers when sending invoices via email. Currently, the option to auto-populate an invoice number isn't available in the QuickBooks Online app. As a workaround, you can manually edit the invoice number in the subject line of each email you send to your customers.
I also recommend providing feedback to our product developers so that they can consider including this in future QuickBooks Online app updates. You can follow the steps outlined by Maybelle_S.
You can read the following article for details on customizing the appearance of sales forms: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
