Hi QBO fellows,
Do you find any option to group or sort an Estimates report by Class ?
All good to make it happen with invoices.
All good to make it happen with estimates and Site.
But I did not have any luck finding any option to sort/group my report on estimates by class.
Thanks
Franck
I'm here to share details on handling reports by class in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @franck. This way, you'll be able to determine how to create a modified Estimate report by Class and manage your transactions effectively.
Currently, there isn't a certain report called Estimate by Class and any option to group or sort one in QBO. However, you can export both the Estimates by Customer and Transaction List by Customer reports to an Excel worksheet. Then, you can manually arrange the data from there. Here's how:
Additionally, tracking your transactions by class will let you keep a close eye on each segment in your business. You can run reports to see your sales, costs, or profitability by segment. To know the available class reports in QBO, kindly refer to this article: Run reports by class. It also contains details about customizing your class reports to get the info you need.
Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'm just around to help. Take care always.
Thanks Rea_M for getting back on this,
This is unfortunate that online invoices can be grouped or filtered by Class.
I'd like to add this as a feature request, could you do that or do I have to post it somewhere else ?
Best,
Franck
