Has anyone had their income and expenses, both business and personal, just disappear? I had to change the password for my bank account and everything that was entered before that date is gone.

Let me provide some steps to help you recover your missing transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed, @Disp595.

Let's begin by finding them on the Transactions page. Apply the filters, including the date and the account the entries are saved. For visual reference, please refer to the screenshot below:

I also suggest using the Refresh All button to retrieve missing entries. This will help fetch the transactions that were not imported. Otherwise, run the Profit and Loss report to check if you can see the transactions there. 

If it doesn't work, you have the option to import bank transactions using a spreadsheet. To proceed, please refer to the steps below:

1. Go to the Profile ⚙ icon and choose Imports.
2. Click Import transactions.
3. Follow the onscreen steps to upload the CSV file.
4. Select Import.
