Having problems with snapping receipts and saving.

Let's get this fixed, Southstarhomeins.

We'll try a few troubleshooting steps to resolve your concern. Let's start with updating the QuickBooks Self-Employed app. Here's how:

  1. On your device, open Google Play Store or App Store.
  2. Select the Menu icon.
  3. Go to My apps & games.
  4. Look for QuickBooks Self-Employed, then click Update.

Next, update your device to the latest IOS or Android version.

Once done, try to snap some receipts again.

If it didn't make any difference, let's uninstall and reinstall the app.

Also, I'll share the article on how to create a new transaction from a receipt image to guide you better: Record or attach expense receipts in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
