Hi, I am the supplier who will be dropshipping my products to my Partner's customers. How do I set them up in Quickbooks and record the sales?

Hi, I am the supplier who will be dropshipping my products to my Partner's customers. How do I set them up in Quickbooks and record the sales?

I'd be glad to guide you on how to handle drop-shipped orders from the supplier's side, @alicewndr17!

 

Yes, you can add invoices for this one. You can invoice it directly to your partner, whom you can set as a regular customer. This way, you can track received payments from your partner.

 

Here's how:

  1. Select +New.
  2. Choose Invoice.
  3. Choose the customer to receive the invoice using the Customer drop-down menu.
  4. Fill in the necessary information.
  5. Select Save and close.

Oh, would I just set them up as a regular customer and add invoices?

Amazing, thank you! That is how I have it set up now but wasn't sure if it was really that simple. I have a question about Consignment but will start a new thread about it in case others have the same question.
