Thanks for choosing QuickBooks to help you with your account needs, @susan76.

I've got some insights to share about your concerns for QuickBooks Self-Employed.

At this time, being able to customize and get off the "Invoice Details" word on the invoice template isn't available. The system has its default template, which helps you create professional-style invoices.

To learn more about how invoices work in QBSE, please check out this link: Create an invoice in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

On the other hand, yes, you can manually add your bank transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed without connecting your bank account.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Transaction menu at the left.
  2. Select on Add Transaction.
  3. Enter the amount and a brief description.
  4. Browse the Select a category menu and choose the best option to organize your transaction.
  5. If you have a receipt, you can drag and drop it onto the form.
  6. When you’re ready, select Save.

For complete details about this process, you can visit this reference: Manually add transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

I'm also adding here some great articles that can help you with categorizing your transactions and on how to navigate QBSE with its functions:

If there's anything else that I can assist you you with, let me know. I'll make sure you're taken care of. Have a lovely day, Susan.

@susan76

As additional note, make sure to open a NEW account with a current discounted plan. You may get a discounted price for up to 6 months. If you pay it in Trial account, you will pay the regular price. For QBSE, currently company offers $1/month for 12 months.
