How can I accept payments from international customers?

I'm here to share some insights about accepting payments from international customers (UK) in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @barbara-ariseadv. This way, you can manage your invoice payments accordingly.

For the time being, accepting payments from international customers using a non-US bank account or with a billing address outside the U.S. is unavailable in QBO. They'll need to contact the card issuing bank to determine if there are options for using their international card with U.S. based businesses that require a 5-digit numeric zip code.

With that being said, you may look for a third-party app that can integrate with QBO to allow you to accept international customer payments. To do this, here's how:

  1. Go to the Apps menu.
  2. Click the Browse Category drop-down menu, select Data Sync.
  3. Select the app you want to integrate.
  4. Click Get App Now and complete the following on-screen instructions.

Also, to answer the most commonly asked questions about QuickBooks Payments, I'd recommend checking out the links in this article: QuickBooks Payments FAQ. It includes topics about funding status, payments processing, and account management, to name a few.

Please let me know if you have other concerns about managing invoices and online payments in QBO. Drop a comment below, and I'll gladly help. Take care, and I wish you continued success, @barbara-ariseadv.

Consider having another processor to accept international payments on your invoices.
