How can I change my SSN to my TIN?

If you're trying to change your SNN into TIN from Form W9, make sure that the client who sent the invite uses Contractor as a business type. You can only enter a TIN if your business type is set to be a contractor. 

Then, you can ask them to resend an invite to fill out your W-9. Once done, follow the steps below to update your info:

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed. Use the same account you used to fill out your W-9.
2. Select your profile icon.
3. Select Tax profile.
4. Make changes as needed.
