Hi @chandler6565.

 

Let me share with you insights on how to show up the 2019 invoice transaction in 2020 P & L report.

 

Ensure to change/create invoice transactions to 2019 dates and then receive payments dated to 2020. This way, you'll see them in 2020 P & L reports.

Some of the payments were made in 2019.  How can they be shown in 2020?

Thanks for your prompt response, @chandler6565.

 

They can be shown in 2020 P & L when you change the Payment date on the Receive payment window. Let me show you how:

 

  1. Go to Sales and then select the Customers tab.
  2. Click the name of the customer.
  3. In the customer's Transaction List, open the invoice.
  4. Click the payment made link below the Payment Status.
  5. Click the date link and then change the Payment date into 2020 dates.
  6. Hit Save and close.

That way, the invoice made in 2019 will be shown in the 2020 Profit & Loss report.
