Correct terms are important when creating invoices, completeliftserv.

There are two things we can do about this. We can either edit the Due On Receipt term or make it inactive. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select All Lists.
  2. Select Terms and look for the Due on receipt term.
  3. Click the drop-down arrow next to Run report and select Edit or Make inactive.
  4. If you select Edit, update the details and click Save.
  5. If you select Make inactive, click Yes to confirm the action.
  6. Click the New button and set up a new term if necessary.

After correcting the term, we can set a new default for your invoices. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Account and Settings.
  2. Select the Sales tab and go to the Sales form content section.
  3. Select the term you want to be default on the invoices. Enter it in the Preferred invoice terms field.
  4. Click Save and Done.

You can submit a suggestion to correct the grammar, but .... with all the other things that need correcting/enhancing I doubt it will get much of a priority

To most people it means the same thing, on receipt and upon receipt

If you want it grammatically correct, it will have to be a manual change each time, there is no user option to change that kind of thing.
