Most of the time, unusual behaviors like this are caused by accumulated cache and cookies in the browser. To rule this out, you can access your QuickBooks account through a private or incognito window. This mode doesn't save site data, cache, and cookies. Check out the shortcut keys below:
Once done, click the + New button then create a dummy sales receipt. If you're able to save it without any issues, close the incognito window then go back to your normal browser. After that, you'll have to clear the cache to remove the accumulated junk files and improve the program performance.
Alternatively, you can also switch to other supported browsers to further isolate the issue.
