Hi there, @hecfinanzas.
Thanks for posting here in the Community. I understand that changing the settings every time you get to the account registers can be so tiring.
I've tried it on my test drive account and it saved my settings. There are times that QuickBooks pages behave unexpectedly especially if the default browser you're using holds too much cache.
To determine if this is a browser-related issue, let's first use an incognito or a private window. Then, perform basic troubleshooting steps on your default browser once confirmed.
Here's how to use an incognito or a private window:
- Open a default browser (Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari), then follow these shortcut keys below:
- Chrome simply press Ctrl + Shift + N.
- Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
- Safari, press Command + Shift + N. Use the latest version.
2. Log in to your QuickBooks Online.
3. Go to your account registers in the Chart of Accounts page, then change the settings from the Cog icon.
If that works, you'll need to go back to your default browser and fix it by clearing its cache. If you're having the same issue, try using a different supported and updated browser.
Get back to me if you have additional concerns. I'm always around here to help you more.
