How can I get my business name to show on my P&L, even after I've changed it in my profile?

In QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), there is no option to add a business. The name displayed on the Profit and Loss report depends on the Name that is set up on your account. Once, you've changed it, it will automatically appear in the Profit and Loss reports. 

To update your personal information, here's how:

1. Click the Gear icon at the top.
2. Under About you column, select Intuit Account. 
3. Go to Personal Info section, then click Edit on the name. 
4. Enter your business name and pick Save.  

Once done, sign out and log in back. Then run Profit and Loss Report and double check if the name is now updated.
