How can I view my invoices from 2018? When I look in the app, I only see invoices from 2019 and beyond.

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to show all your invoices from 2018 in your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) mobile app, mckee-kevin.

 

Let's try accessing your QBSE account on the web and run the invoice list of transactions for 2018. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to Invoices on the left menu.
  2. Tick the Date drop-down and choose All.
  3. Check for the 2018 invoices.

If it's working, let's try clearing the cache app data in your phone settings. This helps us to refresh your QBO mobile app and ensure your data is up-to-date. The QBSE mobile app is always in sync with your account on the web. This means any task you do or information you add in the app shows up on the web, and vice versa. Here's how: 

  1. Click the Menu icon.
  2. Choose Help & Feedback.
  3. Select Refresh Data

Once done, you can close and reopen the mobile app then go to the Invoices tab and choose a date period to include 2018 invoices. If the same thing happens, let's uninstall and reinstall the app to start a clean slate.

How can I view my invoices from 2018? When I look in the app, I only see invoices from 2019 and beyond.

This did work. Thank you for your help.

 

I was trying to filter by 2018 and that was not an option. However, if I remove the filter and just show all invoices, then they are visible.

 

It would be nice if we could pick a custom date range for filtering invoices like we can do for transactions.

As of now, the option to select Custom from the Date drop-down menu is unavailable on the Invoice page. In the meantime, you can select All from the drop-down menu and click the small arrow on the Date column to sort the transactions from Ascending to Descending order.
