First off, let's set up a new account in the Chart of Accounts for the savings account. Here's how:
- Go to the Accounting tab, then select Chart of Accounts.
- Click the New button, then select Bank as the Account Type.
- Choose Savings as the Detail Type.
- Enter a Name.
- Hit Save and Close whenever you're ready.
Once done, we can now link it to your bank. Simply follow these steps below:
- Click the Add account in the Banking tab.
- Search your bank, then click Continue.
- Enter your online banking credentials. Select the Savings account you want to add, then click Connect.
