How do I change $ label on my invoices to read US$ without going to multi currency

Let me assist you in customizing your invoices, julie78.

If you turned on your multi-currency, the invoices will automatically display it as USD for US customers. If you're not using the multi-currency, the only way is to create your own template. From there, you can enter the US$ and rest assure it'll reflect when creating an invoice.

I'll explain to you how it works. From a Word document, create an invoice template. Then, we'll have to import it to your QuickBooks Online account. Once done, select it when you creating an invoice. I have an article here for more details: Import custom form styles for invoices or estimates. You can also download the pdf file I attached to see how it looks like.

I'll also send a request to our developers to have more options when customizing invoices within QuickBooks Online.

I'll always be here if you have more questions. Wishing you all the best!
