How do I change the formating of General Journal Entries?

Can anyone tell me how I would go about changing the template for General Journal entries, so that more of the text shows?" So, changing the width of the columns of Gen. Journal Entries?

Thanks for utilizing the General Journal Entries feature, @Suze63.

The option to change the JE template in QuickBooks Desktop isn't available. However, you can drag the width of the columns for more text to show:

  1. Hover your mouse to the column header.
  2. Once the cross icon is visible, long-press and drag it to left or right side.

That's it. You may also visit our Blogsite for updates and product enhancement implemented in QuickBooks.

Well, that works when I look at the journal entry itself, but I want to change the formatting for the actual print out so that for example the memo line is legible on the printed journal entry.

Hi again, @Suze63.

Currently, there isn't an option to customize the journal entry format in QuickBooks Desktop. For now, you can visit our App Center. Approved and supported applications for QuickBooks are found there.

Each business needs are different. You can scan through the app list to select the appropriate one for the size and requirements of your business. Additionally, we don't recommend or advertise any application to our users.

Keep me posted on how it goes, @Suze63. I'm still here if you have other questions or concerns.
