How do I change the name under the Description Heading?

We purchase merchandise from UNI BEAUTY frequently which is the first name on the bank feed. Yet QB goes over in the middle that it is in the southwest division and names it SOUTHWEST AIRLINES. Incorrect its a beauty supply company and frustrating I cant correct. Your help please as we are not buying airline tickets.

QuickBooks is dependent on the information and description shared by your financial institution. Thus, changing the description showing on your downloaded transactions isn't possible. You'll want to coordinate with your bank and check how they send the transactions to QuickBooks.

Once it's imported, you can review the transactions and categorize them into the correct accounts.

The downloaded data in QuickBooks depends on the information shared by the financial institution. Including the description that shows on the Banking page. That's why QuickBooks pick Southwest Airlines' name on the banking page because this is how your bank entered your bank details. With this, directly editing or updating what information appears on the description field is currently unavailable in QBO.

I suggest contacting your bank to verify the transferred data and be able to change the details if necessary. This way, the beauty supply company you've mentioned will show on the banking page in QuickBooks. 

Additionally, you can only change the Category, Vendor/Customer name, and the memo from the downloaded entries. Then, be able to review or categorize downloaded bank and credit card transactions by matching or adding them to avoid duplicate entries.
