How do i collect 50% of invoice and leave balance for net 30

I'll walk you through the steps on how you can record a partial payment for invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @narine-stygar.

Here's how:

1. Highlight the Sales tab, then select Invoices.
2. Locate the invoice in question, and click on it. 
3. Press Edit invoice.
4. Tap Receive payment.
5. Type in 50% of the invoice total in the Amount received box.
6. Hit Save and close.

In case you need your invoices to default into the Net 30 term, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Gear icon, then select Account and settings.
2. Move to the Sales tab.
3. Click the Sales form content section.
4. Change the Preferred invoice terms to Net 30.
5. Press Save, then Done.
