How do I create multiple "ship to" address to one customer?

I am using QuickBooks 2011 for Mac, Version V12

I have a retail customer that has many different locations. All the billing goes to one central office so the billing location remains the same. However, I would like to make each "ship to" location unique. Is there a way to add multiple ship to locations to this single customer? Thank you.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond. So if a single customer has 100 different shipping addresses... Quickbooks requires you to make 100 different customers/jobs? That seems highly inefficient. There must be a way to have subcategory under a single customer with many locations for the single customer. Ideally, I would like to create an invoice by first selecting the main customer and then select the specific location. Is this possible?

How do I create multiple "ship to" address to one customer?

Once I added a job, when I create the invoice, the same SHIP TO address appears with no option of picking a different address.  Please show step by step.  I was able to use the + icon on the bottom of the page on "customer ABC" to create "add job"  however, when I go to create a new invoice, there is no option to pick the second address I just added under "add job"

This is my issue too. You only have one customer's contact information for (sub) projects. There is no way to add a different address to each project of the one customer which is what I need. The only thing you can do is manually change the estimates/invoices/bills within a sub customer or project. You can save the different addresses in your notes for the customer and at least you will have them handy but there is no work around for this yet. Personally, I was hoping to find an QBO app to extend this feature because it is probably common to need to email a completely different address on each project - not the main customer.

Glad you've joined us today here in the Community, @Quickest.

I hear you and realize the importance of having the option to add a different address to each project of your customers. Let me share some details about this concern.

At this time, we can only add one address to each project as it depends on the information entered from the main customer. Adding other information for your customer can be included under the notes section on the transaction.

On the other hand, QuickBooks is committed to developing simple, intuitive software that works the way your business needs. That being said, we are adding features based largely from our customers' feedback.

I'd encourage you to visit our QuickBooks Online Blog to be updated with our latest news and updates including product improvements.

Lastly, I've added here an article about customizing sales forms in QuickBooks for your future reference: Customize your invoices, estimates, and sales receipts.

Don't hesitate to let me know if I can be of additional assistance. Cheering your business to continued prosperity.

Thank you for your informative reply, @BettyJaneB! Thank you for the welcome, too! I completely agree that suggestions received from actual QBO customers is necessary, but as a web developer, the systems in place may not be advanced enough or would require too much restructuring to offer them. One suggestion is to have a place to offer suggestions to the development aspect (ie a developers section) like many sites where you can test beta versions or new products and offer development or advance coding suggestions. This would fix many of the errors that as a daily user, I have come across and sorry to admit, am still awaiting after many months to be fixed like simple log issues, conflicts and bugs with different browsers, even after directly reporting them to technical support (apps department). The change that QBO enacted to make projects sub-customers of a client was a huge improvement (although I have reported several issues), but the customer/client information page is only for that top level customer/client and where each subcontractor/project owner is completely different companies than the top level client per project. The emailing system currently on Quickbooks is just not that advanced - you still have to enter emails with commas (no spaces) where a simple select-able drop down could be employed which would solve the problem in the meantime. Even then, an application that could extend Quickbook's emailing routing would be essential to many businesses. Again, Quickbooks support - which is almost essential to the success of this necessary platform - has been extremely helpful and I look forward to future improvements and advancements from such a great company! Thank you again!
