You can create a Credit memo transaction to put credit into your customer's record in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'd be glad to guide you through the steps.


  1. In your QBO company, go to the Hamburger menu.
  2. Select the + New button.
  3. Choose the Credit memo under the Customer's section.
  4. Enter the information and make sure that it is recorded for the next month's date.
  5. Verify and Save the transaction.
