Thanks, Nick. I don't want to mark them as "inactive" - I want to completely delete the record. Otherwise I will have both an Active and Inactive record with the same name, which is likely to cause confusion.

For now, there's no option to completely delete a contractor in QuickBooks Online. You can filter the list of contractors so you can also see the active ones. Here's how:
