How do I direct certain employees gross pay to certain expenses accounts on quickbooks online?

Hi there, jnapieralski.

 

You can edit the Accounting settings for your payroll by following these steps:

  1. Click the Gear icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Under Your Company, click Payroll Settings.
  3. Under Preferences, click Accounting.
  4. Choose the account from the Wage Expense Accounts.
  5. Scroll down at the bottom and click OK.
