How do I edit my Payment Methods that show up when I create an invoice? Examples are Credit Card, American Express, AMEX, bad debt, etc.

How do I edit my Payment Methods that show up when I create an invoice? Examples are Credit Card, American Express, AMEX, bad debt, etc.

If you are referring to the drop-down list of payment methods from the Receive Payments screen, you can manage those options within the Payment Method list in QuickBooks.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online
  2. Click on the Gear symbol on the upper right side.
  3. Under Lists, select All Lists.
  4. Select Payment Methods list.
  5. Click New to add a new form of payment.
  6. To edit or make a pay method inactive, click the drop-down to the right side of the payment line.
