How do I enter my billable time in the mobile app?

Let me guide you on how you can enter your billable time in the mobile app, im4u.

We need to turn on first the billable time feature in QuickBooks Online (QBO) using a web browser. This feature is only available in QBO Plus and Advanced versions. If you subscribed to a different one, you might want to upgrade your subscription.

Just follow the steps in this article to enable the feature: How to enter billable time by job. Then, go to Turn on billable time section.

Once done, go to your QBO mobile app to create the billable expense. Then, make sure to switch on the Billable option (this is only available in the iOS mobile device).

To learn more about the features available on mobile devices, please refer to this article: Compare mobile app features.

I've got a link here that provides you with articles about managing your business in your Online account: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/get-started/07.

Feel free to loop me in if you need a hand with tracking billable time by job or any QBO related. I'll be here to help.

Good to have you back here, im4u

The Billable time feature for the Andriod mobile app version is unavailable. To track the time, you may consider using a web browser and record the transactions from there.

Here's how to enter billable time in QBO:

  1. Click the +New button.
  2. Under Employees, select Weekly timesheet.
  3. Enter the required field and make sure the Billable box is mark checked.
  4. Then, click Save and close.
