How do I fix the view so that the screen doesn't cut off the right side and bottom when entering a check?

All of my other screens (Enter Bills, Receive Payments, Chart of Accounts, etc) look fine.  Only the Enter Checks is cut off on the right and bottom side (I can't see Job or Class on the right, or the Save button at the bottom).  I have all my Windows set to Full Screen (I do not like the reduced screen view).  Changing between One Window and Multiple Windows on Views doesn't correct the issue.

Hi pz9ers,

I'm here to help!

QuickBooks is designed to work with the default settings of Windows DPI. If you use anything other than the default values, you may see distortion, buttons missing, fields missing, etc. To correct your QuickBooks display, you may need to adjust your font, screen resolution, or other Windows settings (such as DPI). You can refer to this article:

Let me know how it goes.

Thank you - it was the Quickbooks settings from the article you referenced (not any WIndows settings).  I did want to mention that it took me a minute to figure out one of the steps.  In step 1 below, I had to find the .exe program in Program Files on my C: drive in order for this to work.  Also, the screen for QB 2016 Pro looks much different than the one in the article, but it was close enough for me to figure it out.  Thanks for the help!

Solution 2: Change the properties of QuickBooks
1.Right click on the icon for QuickBooks.
2.Left click on Properties.
3.Left click on the Compatibility tab.
4.Check the box next to Disable display scaling on high DPI settings

Solution #4 (QB setting) worked... date: 7-7-2017 using QB Premier Contractor Edition 2017 on a Win10 pc... in QuickBooks clicked 'VIEW tab'... my setting was on 'multiple windows'... clicked and changed to 'ONE Window' and all of the WRITE CHECKS Form was visible again... then clicked right back to 'Multiple windows' and all of the Write Checks Form remained visible.  Thanks!

Try switching from Single user to Multi-user mode, and back again. Or vice versa. None of the other things worked but this fixed it for me! Using Desktop 2017 on Windows 10.

That link is no longer working. I'm using QuickBooks Premier Non-Profit 2016 and all of a sudden the Save, Save and New, and Close buttons disappeared from my Write Checks screen. Evidently, I've bumped something along the way, but I can't figure it out. I've switched back and forth between Single and Multiple several times to no avail...about to loose my mind here! Please help!!

Help! The link you provided is no longer working. I was using the Write Checks screen when suddenly the "Save", "Save and New" and "Close" buttons disappeared. I've tried switching between Single and Multiple several times to no avail. All of the other screens seem to be okay. Do you have a new link I can try?  Many thanks!

Thanks for looping in, @AICH.

I appreciate you switching to Single and Multiple windows to fix the problem.

The link with troubleshooting solutions to resolve display issues that my colleague provided was removed. I’m adding the updated article for reference: QuickBooks Desktop display issues.

Thank you so much for the prompt reply. However, out of sheer frustration, I shut down my computer for a few minutes, rebooted and "Ta! Da!", my screen was fixed. I should have thought of that earlier. Again, though, I really appreciate your attention!
