How do i get started setting up quickbooks for a church?

I'm glad to help you today so you'll be able to set up QuickBooks for a non-profit organization (church) successfully.

 

  1. Go to the Plan and Pricing site, then select either Buy QuickBooks and get 50% off or try a free trial for 30 days by clicking on the radio button.
  2. Choose the QuickBooks subscription you want to try or avail, then click on Buy now or Try it free.
  3. Add your details (email address, mobile number, password) to create an Intuit account.
  4. Once done, you'll now be able to set up your QuickBooks account, add the name and how would you like to describe your business under the Tell us about your business page, hit Next.
  5. Select what would you like to do in QuickBooks, then click Next.
  6. Add your role at the business (church), tap on Next.
  7. Lastly, select how do you want to track your income and expenses, then choose All set.

 

Once completed, you're now ready to use QuickBooks. For a non-profit organization, you have to edit your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account to better fit your needs. Also, you can make necessary changes to ensure your account uses terms commonly used by non-profit organizations.
