How do i get the total balance on this months invoice if the customer didnt pay in total last month?

You can pull up the Customer Balance Detail report, Levelcutllc. Then, customize it to show this month's transactions.

This report will show open invoices and the total per customer. Here's how:

1. Click Reports.
2. Enter Customer Balance Detail in the Find report by name field.
3. Under Report period, select This Month.
4. Click Run report. 

Or, you can also check the Open Invoices report.  This will show the unpaid/open invoices. Here's how:

1. Click Reports.
2. Enter Open Invoices in the Find report by name field.
3. Under Report period, select This Month.
4. Click Run report. 

You can memorize the report so you won't go over to the same customization process again.
