How do I make a report showing all billable expenses during a period?

Currently I have a customized transaction report with the report period set to last week and a filter of billable expense charges. Despite having charges marked as billable during that period the report returns no results.

Let me help you with pulling up a report showing all Billable Expenses.

 

In QuickBooks Online, you can pull up the Uninvoiced Charges report which provides detailed information for customer charges you haven't invoiced yet. 

 

To do this task, follow these steps:

  1. Click Reports from the left navigation menu. 
  2. Enter Uninvoiced Charges in the search box.
  3. Filter the Report period.
  4. Click Run Report.

I am not trying to make a report of uninvoiced expenses Im trying to make a report of expenses set to billable regardless of there invoice status

Hello, anotherjoe.

 

Did you run the Transaction List by Customer Report? If not, let’s open the report and filter it with Billable Expense Charge.

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. Search Transaction List by Customer from the search box.
  3. Click Customize, set your desired date.
  4. And choose Billable Expense Charge for Transaction type under Filter.
